Movie & Dinner

We often go see a movie together.  No movie is currently on the schedule but stay tuned.

Dinner Groups
These dinners give us a chance to get to know each other better by sharing a dinner with 6 to 10 people from our class.  If you want to participate, inquire in class.

HOW THEY WORK:

1)  Class members who want to host a dinner choose a day that's convenient for themselves.  Contact Carol Motro in class.

Host decides the date, time, and number of spots available and whether or not kids are included.   Remember this is not a big dinner.  It can be sandwiches from Togos or hamburgers on the grill.  How many seats do you have around your table? You can host a small group of 4 or a large group of 20.  It can be a picnic after church or a Saturday night.  It's completely up to the hosts.

2)  Once we have a few homes available, we will post either by email and/or a class clipboard the homes, dates, & times with the number of slots the hosts have to fill.  People look at the times/dates, pick one that suits their schedule and sign up.  When the slots are filled, the host gets the names.

3)  The host contacts the people who signup and let them know what to bring to contribute to the meal.  Then the dinner happens as scheduled.

It's really worthwhile to do this to get to know each other better.  It's not about the house or the food, but about sharing our lives with each other.  Amazing things have come out of small group dinners in our church.
